Talisha is the Founder of Therapeutic Billing & Credentialing LLC and the Founder of Therapeutic Counseling & Consulting, a thriving therapy group practice in Richmond, VA with two office locations. With over 13 years of experience in the mental health field, she has worked with children, adolescents, and adults and now serves as a Clinical Supervisor, guiding residents in counseling.

As a licensed professional counselor and private practice owner, Talisha has experienced firsthand the complexities of billing and credentialing. She personally managed these processes for her practice, ensuring that insurance claims were submitted correctly and that credentialing applications were approved efficiently. After briefly outsourcing these services, she gained even deeper insight into industry best practices, strengthening her expertise in claims management, provider enrollment, and revenue optimization.

Recognizing the growing need for therapist-friendly billing and credentialing solutions, she founded Therapeutic Billing & Credentialing LLC to help other mental health providers navigate insurance with ease and confidence. Her unique perspective as both a therapist and a business owner allows her to offer tailored solutions that support solo providers and group practices across Virginia.

Hello! My name is Manar Farouk. I’m currently in my final year at Randolph Macon College, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Religious Studies. I’ve always been passionate about helping others, and that passion really came to life through my experience serving with the Sunday school kids at my church. I am truly drawn to roles where I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around me. I bring a strong sense of organization and attention to detail to everything I do, which allows me to support others in thoughtful and impactful ways.
