Talisha Gorham
FOUNDER
Talisha is the Founder of Therapeutic Billing & Credentialing LLC and the Founder of Therapeutic Counseling & Consulting, a thriving therapy group practice in Richmond, VA with two office locations. With over 13 years of experience in the mental health field, she has worked with children, adolescents, and adults and now serves as a Clinical Supervisor, guiding residents in counseling.
As a licensed professional counselor and private practice owner, Talisha has experienced firsthand the complexities of billing and credentialing. She personally managed these processes for her practice, ensuring that insurance claims were submitted correctly and that credentialing applications were approved efficiently. After briefly outsourcing these services, she gained even deeper insight into industry best practices, strengthening her expertise in claims management, provider enrollment, and revenue optimization.
Recognizing the growing need for therapist-friendly billing and credentialing solutions, she founded Therapeutic Billing & Credentialing LLC to help other mental health providers navigate insurance with ease and confidence. Her unique perspective as both a therapist and a business owner allows her to offer tailored solutions that support solo providers and group practices across Virginia.
Brittany Morgan
Billing & Credentialing Specialist
Hi! My name is Brittany Morgan, and I am truly honored to be here at Therapeutic Billing and Credentialing as a Billing and Credentialing Specialist! I have a strong background in writing and communications, as I have earned both my Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a Concentration in Creative Writing from Longwood University in 2020 and have also earned my Master of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 2023. I know these seem unrelated to the field of Billing and Credentialing, but the overlap is there insomuch as that I have felt called to serve others—through writing or other means, such as providing top-tier services via medical mental health billing and provider credentialing.
I also currently proudly serve as the Website/Blog Editor and Social Media Manager for Therapeutic Counseling and Consulting. My experiences as a peer in the mental health field and as a behind-the-scenes part of a thriving therapy private practice here in Richmond, VA have helped shape the person I am today. I have always been led towards helping others, be it through the art of creative written expression, or through helping those who serve as clinicians in the mental health and wellness field. Though not a clinician myself, I am a peer in the field through my expertise and knowledgebase I bring to the table in terms of serving as a Billing and Credentialing Specialist.
